The following Terms & Conditions apply to all bookings.
1. Booking & Deposit
• A non-refundable deposit of NZ$1,500 per person is required to confirm your place.
• Final balance is due 90 days prior to departure.
• Bookings made within 90 days of departure require full payment at time of confirmation.
• A booking is not confirmed until deposit funds are received.
2. Pricing
• All prices are quoted in New Zealand Dollars (NZD).
• Pricing includes return Air Chathams flights accommodation at Hotel Chathams, meals as specified, guided touring.
• The only additional cost is alcohol with dinners and personal purchases.
• Prices are subject to change until deposit is received.
3. Accommodation
• Accommodation is at the located Hotel Chathams property.
• Solo travellers are guaranteed their own room at no additional cost.
• Room configurations are subject to availability at time of booking.
4. Cancellation Policy
• The deposit is non-refundable.
If you cancel your participation in the tour, any funds paid (excluding the deposit) may be transferred to another Travel With Lesley Whyte tour within 12 months of the original departure date.
We strongly recommend NZ domestic travel insurance at the time of booking to protect against unforeseen circumstances.
In the unlikely event that Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd cancels the tour, all monies paid will either be fully refunded or may be transferred to any other Travel With Lesley Whyte tour of your choice.
5. Travel Insurance
Comprehensive NZ domestic travel insurance is strongly recommended and should include:
• Cancellation cover
• Medical cover
• Flight disruption
6. Flight Disruptions
• Travel to the Chatham Islands is weather dependent.
• In the event of delays or cancellations beyond our control, we will assist with alternative arrangements; however, additional costs may apply and are the responsibility of the traveller (claimable via travel insurance).
7. Health & Mobility
• Participants must have a reasonable level of mobility suitable for walking on uneven terrain.
• Please advise of any medical conditions, dietary requirements or allergies at time of booking.
8. Changes to Itinerary
• Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd reserves the right to amend the itinerary due to weather, supplier availability or unforeseen circumstances.
• Any changes will be made with guest safety and enjoyment as priority.
9. Responsibility
Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd acts as organiser and coordinator of services provided by third-party suppliers. While every care is taken in supplier selection, we accept no liability for injury, loss, damage, delay or inconvenience beyond our reasonable control.
10. Photography & Marketing
Photographs and video may be taken during the tour for marketing purposes. If you do not wish to be included, please advise in writing prior to departure.
11. Acceptance
Payment of deposit confirms acceptance of these Terms & Conditions.
