Darrel is a modern day explorer, conducting intrepid expeditions into the world’s most remote locations. He first visited Antarctica in 1999 and has since led over 70 expeditions there. With his yacht the Spirit of Sydney and his extensive polar experience he has supported documentary makers, scientists, mountaineers and divers.
Being an Antarctic Management Consultant, Darrel provides solutions for Antarctic projects, along with managing customised Antarctic Voyages for high-end companies.
Darrel is a leader in the Antarctic industry, a full voting member of the International Association of Antarctic Tourist Operators (IAATO) and is a longstanding committee member on both the Membership, Yacht and Field Staff Committees.
