From the historic streets of Delhi to the sculpted temples of Khajuraho, and deep into the forests of Central India, this immersive itinerary blends wildlife encounters, cultural experiences, conservation stories, and photography guidance across some of India’s most evocative landscapes.
In Panna and Bandhavgarh National Parks, multiple game drives led by expert naturalists and park guides provide outstanding opportunities to observe and photograph wildlife in its natural habitat — including the elusive Bengal tiger, if luck allows. Beyond wildlife, meaningful encounters with the Paridhi and Baiga tribal communities add cultural depth, context, and powerful storytelling to every moment of the journey.

While this journey is thoughtfully designed with photography in mind, you do not need to be a photographer to join us. Many travellers are drawn to the wildlife, landscapes, and cultural depth of India — and you are warmly invited to be part of this experience.
If you’re not travelling with a camera, your smartphone is perfect for capturing memorable moments. This tour is about connection, immersion, and discovery, whether you’re refining photographic skills or simply enjoying the journey and documenting it your way.
ITINERARY
Day 1 | Thursday 18 February – In Transit & Arrival
You will be met by a Jasmine Trails representative and transferred to your hotel. As you’ll likely be arriving into Delhi by international flight late at night / early morning, your rooms are available for immediate occupancy.

Day 2 | Friday 19 February – Delhi
Delhi is a captivating blend of ancient history and modern life. Time permitting, enjoy:
- Exploration of Old Delhi, including a walk and cycle rickshaw ride through its bustling lanes and spice markets
- A drive through New Delhi, the grand imperial capital built by the British
- Visit to Gurudwara Bangla Sahib, Delhi’s largest Sikh temple, where devotional music and the remarkable community kitchen create a deeply moving experience

Day 3 | Saturday 20 February – Delhi to Khajuraho
Morning flight to Khajuraho.
Explore the UNESCO-listed Khajuraho Temples, celebrated for their extraordinary stone carvings depicting gods, celestial beings, animals, and scenes of daily life — including the famous erotic sculptures whose symbolism continues to intrigue artists and historians alike.

Day 4 | Sunday 21 February – Khajuraho to Panna
Travel by road to Panna National Park.
A renowned conservation success story, Panna is home to Bengal tigers, leopards, sloth bears, jackals, and abundant birdlife. The scenic Ken River winds through the park, enhancing its ecological and photographic richness.

Day 5 | Monday 22 February – Panna
Early departure with a packed breakfast for your morning safari.

Early departure for the scenic drive to Bandhavgarh National Park.

- Morning jeep safari in one of India’s most celebrated tiger reserves

Day 9 | Friday 26 February – Bandhavgarh

- Morning safari
- Walk through nearby Baiga villages, gaining insight into forest-based lifestyles, traditional crafts, and cultural practices

Day 11 | Sunday 28 February – Bandhavgarh to Delhi
Early departure to Jabalpur Airport, followed by flight to Delhi.

Day 12 | Monday 1 March – Departure
Group transfer to the international airport for your onward flight home.
