Your Journey

Your cruise begins in Arles, a city synonymous with Vincent van Gogh and filled with Roman history, before travelling north through the heart of Provence and the Rhône Valley.

Along the way you’ll have opportunities to discover Avignon and its magnificent Papal history, explore charming villages, experience the renowned wines of Châteauneuf-du-Pape and travel through some of France’s most beautiful wine country.

Continue through Viviers and Tournon before visiting Vienne and finally arriving in Lyon, considered one of France’s great culinary capitals.

A Special Women’s Only Wine Cruise

This is no ordinary Rhône river cruise.  The departure is hosted by acclaimed McLaren Vale winemaker Emmanuelle Bekkers of Bekkers Wine, with special wine experiences and events planned throughout the journey.  Expect wonderful conversations, tastings and opportunities to discover both French and Australian wine, along with some fabulous women’s only events onboard.  From a Whispering Angel Rosé party on the sundeck to a Miraval Champagne breakfast, this is going to be a particularly enjoyable week in France!

AmaKristina offers an intimate and relaxed way to travel through France.  Onboard you’ll enjoy beautifully appointed accommodation, multiple dining experiences, a heated pool, fitness facilities, walking track, bicycles and wellness activities.  Dining is an important part of the AmaWaterways experience, with gourmet meals throughout your cruise and the opportunity to dine at The Chef’s Table.
