Your adventure begins in Christchurch, where we’ll meet at the Commodore Hotel for a 9:00am departure on 14th August. From here, we head into the breathtaking high country to experience the beauty and exclusivity of Flockhill Station — a spectacular setting to kick off a weekend filled with intrigue, laughter and unforgettable moments.
Arriving the night before? We’re happy to arrange your accommodation at the Commodore Hotel for you (pay direct). The hotel also offers complimentary airport transfers, making your arrival seamless and stress-free.

You’ll step into a fun and interactive Murder Mystery experience, where secrets unfold, clues come to light, and everyone becomes part of the story. Work together (or go rogue!) to uncover the truth — but be warned… not everything is as it seems.
Will you solve the case before the final reveal?
🚂 A Memorable Finale
The weekend concludes in true style with the iconic TranzAlpine Scenic Plus journey — complete with private viewing carriage, delicious meal and wines as you take in some of New Zealand’s most spectacular alpine scenery.
We finish with a final dinner together, sharing stories, laughs and perhaps the truth behind the mystery…
🌊 Final Day
After breakfast and check-out of the Commodore Hotel, we slow the pace and soak up the final moments together.
We recommend planning your flights home for the late afternoon, as we head to the charming seaside village of Akaroa. Enjoy time at leisure wandering the boutique shops, galleries and waterfront before we come together for lunch — the perfect spot to sit back, relax and watch the world go by along the foreshore.
After lunch, we make our way back to Christchurch where your tour concludes with drop off points at Christchurch Airport and Commodore Hotel.
