Schedule Changes, Delays & Additional Accommodation
Travel to remote and regional destinations can occasionally be affected by circumstances outside the control of Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd, including but not limited to airline schedule changes, ferry or ship disruptions, rail delays, adverse weather conditions, operational requirements, or force majeure events.
Should any such disruption necessitate additional overnight accommodation, transfers, meals or related expenses, Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd will endeavour to assist by coordinating suitable group accommodation and services using contracted group rates wherever possible.
Any additional costs incurred as a result of these disruptions remain the responsibility of the traveller. These expenses should be claimed through the traveller’s own comprehensive travel insurance policy.
As Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd operates on back-to-back contractual arrangements with airlines, accommodation providers, ferry operators, rail companies, restaurants and other suppliers, no refunds or credits will be provided for unused accommodation, meals, transport or inclusions where disruptions occur outside of our control.
Credits
Where, at the sole discretion of Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd, a travel credit is issued in lieu of a refund, the credit holder is responsible for advising Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd that a valid credit exists and requesting that it be applied to a future invoice. Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd is under no obligation to automatically identify, track or apply credits to subsequent bookings. Credits may only be applied to bookings made by the original credit holder unless otherwise agreed in writing by Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd.
International Flight Arrangements
For tours or events commencing outside New Zealand where flights are not included in the tour package, we strongly recommend that travellers coordinate their international flight arrangements through our preferred travel consultant – Kerry Graham – kerry@privatetravel.co.nz
Coordinating flights through our recommended travel advisor helps ensure travellers arrive at the destination at the same or similar times as the main tour group, allowing for smoother transfers, coordinated arrivals and easier management of any schedule changes or disruptions.
Travel With Lesley Whyte Ltd is not responsible for independently arranged flights that fall outside any recommended arrival and departure times.
