Your New Year celebration begins from the moment you arrive. For guests taking our flight package, private airport transfers will be arranged directly from Sydney Airport to Hilton Sydney.
After checking into your Corner Suite, the afternoon is yours to unpack, relax or make the most of our wonderful central location for a little pre-New Year shopping. Tonight we come together for our Welcome Dinner at The Charles, the perfect beginning to our Sydney celebration. Enjoy beautiful food, bubbles and cocktails as we settle in, relax and enjoy the company of our small group ahead of an extraordinary few days in Sydney.

FRIDAY 31 DECEMBER 2027
THE ULTIMATE SYDNEY NEW YEAR’S EVE
Today is all about anticipation and getting ready for one of the biggest nights of the year. Enjoy breakfast at Hilton Sydney followed by a relaxed morning and afternoon. Perhaps browse the shops, enjoy a long lunch or simply take your time and soak up the New Year’s Eve atmosphere building throughout the city.
For the ladies, why not make getting ready part of the celebration? You may like to book an optional appointment at Blow Bar Co inside David Jones, just a short stroll from Hilton Sydney. Settle in, enjoy a professional blow-dry and a glass of bubbles while getting ready for our glamorous night on Sydney Harbour. A little pampering, a little bubbles and no need to worry about doing your own hair. After all, if there was ever a night to get dressed up, this is it.
Appointments are optional, at your own cost and subject to availability, with advance bookings essential for New Year’s Eve. Then it is back to Hilton Sydney, slip into something fabulous and get ready for the main event.
CAPTAIN COOK CRUISES
PLATINUM NEW YEAR’S EVE EXPERIENCE
Tonight is the centrepiece of our Sydney celebration and one of those travel experiences that belongs firmly on the bucket list. We board Sydney 2000, the flagship of Captain Cook Cruises, for their Platinum New Year’s Eve experience on Sydney Harbour, and we have taken the experience one step further with guaranteed window seating on the Sky Deck PLUS access to the open-air Star Deck included in our package.
The Sky Deck is Sydney 2000’s highest dining level and home to Captain Cook Cruises’ most lavish New Year’s Eve experience. We will enjoy individual reserved seating, with guaranteed window seating for our group providing wonderful harbour views while we dine. The evening features a six-course degustation menu paired with premium Penfolds wines, premium spirits and live music, creating a sophisticated celebration as Sydney Harbour comes alive around us.
We also have access to the Star Deck, the open-air deck at the very top of Sydney 2000. Access is restricted to a limited number of guests and provides an extraordinary open-air vantage point over Sydney Harbour. This gives us the best of both worlds, guaranteed window seating for our Platinum degustation dinner on the Sky Deck, together with access to the limited-capacity Star Deck above us for those incredible harbour views.
And on New Year’s Eve in Sydney, position matters. Sydney 2000 cruises inside Sydney Harbour’s official New Year’s Eve exclusion zone, placing us right in the heart of the celebrations. As darkness falls, the Harbour Bridge, Sydney Opera House, illuminated city skyline and hundreds of boats create an extraordinary backdrop while anticipation builds towards the fireworks.
At 9pm, Sydney Harbour lights up for the first spectacular fireworks display of the evening. We then continue celebrating over beautiful food, Penfolds wines, premium spirits and live music as the countdown towards midnight begins.
As 2027 draws to a close, we can make our way to the outdoor viewing areas, including the open-air Star Deck at the very top of Sydney 2000. Glasses raised, Sydney Harbour surrounding us and one of the most recognisable skylines in the world illuminated before us, we count down the final moments of the year together. Then midnight arrives and Sydney welcomes 2028 with its world-famous fireworks spectacular, filling the harbour and night sky with colour.
No spending the day securing a position on the foreshore, no standing for hours in enormous crowds and no worrying about where you will be when midnight arrives. Instead, we will be aboard Sydney 2000, inside the harbour exclusion zone, enjoying Captain Cook Cruises’ Platinum experience with a six-course degustation dinner, premium Penfolds wines, premium spirits, live music, guaranteed window seating and access to the open-air Star Deck.

NEW YEAR’S DAY IN SYDNEY
Happy New Year!
After last night’s celebrations, today is deliberately relaxed. Sleep in, enjoy breakfast at Hilton Sydney and take the day entirely at your own pace. Perhaps browse the New Year sales, wander through the Queen Victoria Building, enjoy a leisurely lunch, catch up with friends or simply relax in your Corner Suite and enjoy having nowhere you need to be.
This evening we come together again for dinner at one of Sydney’s excellent restaurants, conveniently located within walking distance of Hilton Sydney. There is no need for transfers or a complicated evening after our New Year’s Eve celebrations, just a relaxed stroll from the hotel for a wonderful final dinner together. Over dinner we can raise another glass to 2028, reminisce about our extraordinary New Year’s Eve on Sydney Harbour and enjoy our final evening together in Sydney.

SUNDAY 2 JANUARY 2028
FAREWELL SYDNEY
After breakfast at Hilton Sydney, it is time to farewell Sydney and our very special New Year celebration. For guests travelling on our flight package, your private transfer will take you from Hilton Sydney to Sydney Airport for your journey home.
You will leave with wonderful memories of welcoming 2028 from one of the world’s most spectacular locations.
